Hi everybody
i have a form which inspects the inward material
on the form i have a combobox called "PROBLEM"

there are chances that an incoming component may have more than one type of problems

how can i select more than one type of listed problems from the combobox

or is there another way to do it ?

thanks in advance

By definition, combobox can only have one value selected. (At least that's true if you're not using Access 2007's multivalued field)

Normally, if you want to have multiple selections, there are two basic approach:

1) Use a subform in a datasheet or continuous view. You can place the combobox there and add as many selection as you need for this association. Of course you need a junction table for this to work.

2) Use a multi-select listbox. This requires some VBA and still requires a junction table.

HTH.
