Multi User Database

Hi all,

Please I have a created an Access 2002 database with tables and forms. I placed it in a shared folder and I want several sales execs to add data to it simultenously. The problem I am having is that I can open the database and make edits but all other network users get a read-only version when they attemp opening the database (even when no one else has it opened). The second problem is that only one user can open the database at a time. When a second person attempts opening the database, he gets an error: Could not lock file. Please how can I make it so that several people can use this database at the same time? Thanks.

Make a standalone version and link all the tables to the version of the database that does not get opened.

So its basically a copy of the same database, but the tables link to a version of the databse on the network no one uses
