I am not good with reports but here is what I want.

My table has 3000+ clients. A couple times a year we have to mail them out a packet. Each packet has 5 pages, one page from the database with their information and then 4 extra pages we print from Word. We then take each page from the database, stack the other 4 pages behind it then staple it, stuff in an envelope then mail out.

I want to make a report in Access that loads the 1st record from the database, adds the other 4 pages, prints, staples, then loads the second record adds pages, prints, staples, ect... for every record in the DB.

Is this possible and if so how?

The printing part is doable but you'll need bulk mailing equipment from a company like Pitney Bowes to staple and stuff. You can also send this type of job to a place like Kinkos. They may have the facilities you need to do this. If that's the case, they will also do the merge so you would give them two separate stacks of paper and they would take one from A and four from B, staple and stuff.

If your company has a printer similar to the one that mine does, you can program it to collate and staple the documents that are printed. All you need to do is create a document to print, and issue a request to print the appropriate number of copies. The local experts here can assist you in creating the document. Otherwise, you may need outside assistance (Kinkos, Staples, etc) as described by Pat.

I think I can figure out the staple stuff at the end of the job. I just do not know how to set up a report to show the

first page with records, then the extra pages,
next record & extra pages,
next record & extra pages,
next record & extra pages, ... ect. for the 300+ clients.
