My autofill data changes!

No offence taken :)

A little bit about what I am doing here! My best mate of 25 years is starting a tyre business in Nottingham UK He don't have much cash and not many computer skills! So I said I will build him a Point of sale DB so he can keep track of his stock and sales by clicking a few buttons :) But I do want it to be right and not crash or have errors! So I will learn what I need to make sure I do a good job for him! I love Access and have self taught myself the basics to get by :) When I see some of the things you guys n gals have done with Access/VBA I am like WOW! I need to learn more of what this wonderfull programme can do :)

When does the Business Open.

When will you finish this project.

How much does a copy of MYOB Retail cost. :D:D:eek:

My time for my mate is always free!

Other than a thing that travels underwater, what is a "Sub"

So if Sub is really your Orders why do you call it Sub and not Orders.

I have tidied up your Tables Just a Little.

See if you can fix the Foreign Keys. Then redo the relationships.

I will give you a hint. Read up on Naming Conventions.

I have read Naming Conventions about 40 times now and I just dont get it!
Rain I am sorry for wasteing your time and I hate quitting any thing but I am going to start smoking again in a min so time to walk away!

Again thanks for your time and effort on me.

Paul

Perhaps I should walk away.

I can be a little demanding at time.

Primary Keys and Foreign Keys.
Foreign Keys should share the same name with the Primary Key.
The Primary Key name should be unique within the Database.
The Primary Key should be tagged as the Primary Key and the Foreign Key should be tagged as the Foreign Key.
e.g. ClientPK as Primary Key
ClientFK as Foreign Key.
The commonly used suffix of ID serves little except to confuse.

There are others here at AWF that will look after you very well.

Good Luck with the Project.

Just made him a Excel sheet to do his invoice's He can keep his stock on one to :)
