Hi: How do you get rid of the gray background? I have played with the Fill/Back color and the Alternate back color with no results. I am missing something. ???
Thanks...

What version of Access? Are you saying that it is like the report is printed on gray paper?

Access 2007 gray backgound on report.

I am using white paper and the printer gives it a gray background within the margins and also on the computer it's gray in print view. I sure would like it white. I tried on the Fill/back color and the Alternate back color choices but could not get rid of the gray background. I'm probably missing something very simple. Thanks RuralGuy.

What version of Access? Can you post enough of the db so we can look at that report?

Each section of a report has a BackColor. To what is your set?

Thanks RG, I will need to look around to find the version of my 2007 and look to see what I missed on each section having a color and figure out how to send a snapshot of the db. Hopefully, I can get back to it later.
Thanks for your willingness to help.

Help?

Did you ever find the answer to this. I'm having the same problem. For me, it's occurring on one computer in a networked environment. Several computers use the same database and it's worked fine for ages. The color problem occurred for me when we got some new, used computers. The one user with the problem is the only one who has it. I think it may have to do with some sort of windows and/or XP color scheme setting, but I can't figure out which one.

The reports are all set to a white background and look white on all the other computers. Just this one has a different appearance and I haven't been able to determine the setting. When I took the computer that was doing this and imported all the settings from that computer to another computer, same result, screwed up color (grey background) on reports set to white. I had another issue (no balloons popping up with track changes info), but managed to fix that by doing the import minus MS Office settings. Apparently something was corrupt or wrong there.

Any ideas?
