In the "Notes" section of the Contact Details, "#Name?" error is listed. I switched back to Contact List and noticed that in "Show/Hide" fields, I had hidden Notes because I didn't want it on the Contact List database.

I changed it to Show, and now the #Name? error is listed in the cells in the Contact List db, as well as the Contact Details.

Does anyone know what I've done to cause the #Name? error, and how I can rectify it?

I'd prefer the Notes field not be in the Contact List, also.

I may have renamed something, but I honestly don't remember. Would that be what's causing the problem?

It's possible because the error means it can't find something it is looking for.

Makes sense, Bob. Now, to figure out what I renamed. Thanks.

Fixed it, Bob! I think I must have deleted the Notes field from the Contact List, so I made a new Notes field in the table and, voila, the error is gone.

I'm teaching myself how to build a table in Access 2007, so I'm taking a lot of baby steps.

Thanks, again.

Glad you got it sorted :)

Me, too! I think I've got the Contact List the way I want it. At least, for now. Would you be able to suggest what I need to learn next? Querys? Reports? Which one first?

Thank you so much, Bob. The Microsoft Tutorials just aren't doing it for me, and I haven't been very successful at finding any other good ones on the web. I appreciate it.
