Hell to all!
I am new in access databases so please keep it simple!
I made one data base to hold the personel of my unit and their parasute jumps.
So everything works almost great except that when I enter a new record to the main tables then even is there and I can manipulate it threw the queries or reports I can not navigate to them threw the main form of entering data!
I have attached some pics also...If someone is willing to help in the solution I upload the hall database.Sorry that is in Greek I can not do something for that but I am here to assist in any question.
Thank you!

No sense in me looking (language barrier) but I can tell you it looks like there is some sort of Filyer applied. Go Design Mode and clear out anything you see on the Filter line in the Properties window for the form. You might want to clear the Filter in On_close event of your form...

Dear Gina.
Thank you for the reply but even I removed all the filters in the forms...the problem is still there...I even tried to creat new input form from scratc with Access step by step guide but I had a small progress...This time I can navigate threw the records till I close the application ..then I have the same problem!!!:eek:

Somewhere along the lines your filter is remaining... On_Close of the form try putting...

Code:
Me.Filter = ""
Me.FilterOn = False

Then try again...

Now everythihng is messed up....I can not even click on the second form, that is embeded!!

Change the form's Data Entry property to No. You will find this under the Data tab.

I'm pretty sure it works. Please see attached a screenshot showing proof and your amended db.

Oh...now I noticed that the primary problem solved ....but I can not enter any more records from the form!!!

Check the RecordSource of the form(s)... make sure you can add a new record. If you can't you need to fix the RecordSource (which sounds like it could be a query).

I had a quick look at the db and I can add/edit records.

Please take a look again I have altered the form... so maybe I did something wrong while trying to solve the previous problem!!!I send again the db file!
Thank you!

You are using a Snapshot Recordset Type. Change that back to Dynaset.

well...I know I am pain in the a..
but ... as you say works great only when the db is open..when i close and restart it again i can not navigate with the dynaset option !!!

When you close what? The db or the form?

Did you save the change you made to the Recordset Type property?

Yes I saved the property..when I close the db...and reopen it I can add new recods and navigate to them...but only for this first session record.The others are there in the table but I can not navigate anymore from the form as when I have the dynaset deactivated...(then I have the problem that I can not add records)
I am not an expert to this and I do not know what am I doing wrong!

Leave it as Dynaset.

You can't records to the main form or the subform? Explain the exact steps you took so I can repeat it here.

Ok!
So the problem is on the main form. Not to the subform. So the steps are like that.
1. select the first option that will take you to the main form with the embeded second one.
2.Then if is dynaset as you say you will see that you are able to inport data...and works really great. But notice down it says 1 from 1 ,while in the table are more records(that appear only if i deactivate dynaset)... the name of the table is NamesTable.
