Navigation buttons

I have a field (DueDate) that will blink (flash) if it passes its value

problem is the text to the right of the navigation buttons is not showing the number of records unless I navigate till end of the records.

I tried Me.Requery and Me. Refresh but with no success

Are you talking about the standard Nav Buttons? What version of Access are you using? Are you using the timer event to "flash" the DueDate control?

yes, they are the standard navigation buttons

If you disable the Flashing code and the timer event, do you still have a problem with the record count display?

when i disable it, the record count appears normally

What is the blink rate? How often is the Timer event running? Would just changing the background color be adequate for your application?

rate is set at 400

That is every 400 MS or less that a half second. Try 2000 and see if the issue goes away. I know the blink is too slow but you are just troubleshooting for now. How about changing the background color of your control every 2 seconds?
