Okay guys, i have two weeks to make labels for 500 VHS and SVHS tapes, put them on a shelf, and get the new Tape Library system in order. I've been working on it all year, have all the info i need, but am running short on time now.

I recently had a computer failure where all of my already made tape labels were deleted, but i had a safe copy of the excel file holding all 500 tapes secure...but not the labels of them. So, i need to make several hundred labels ASAP. This is my senior year in high school and i'm the only one who knows the system and won't be able to teach anyone until AFTER the system is set up. This is my grade and ultimately my graduation. I MUST GET THIS PROJECT FINISHED.

My problem is that i'm not so familiar with MS Access and don't know much about it. i do know that you can import information from Excel to Access and let it fill your form that you've made, i know that much, and my little brother showed me that, but we, including our teacher here at school, cannot figure out how to import the data from the excel file to make MULTIPLE forms instead of sending it only to ONE form...how do you do that?

If i can do that, it'll save me a lot of time and already spent work.

I desperately need this information ASAP because if it cannot be done then i need to work night and day to manually type out these labels.

Thank you,

Have you tried using Microsoft Word, with the mail merge feature? That way you don't need to learn Access for this time-sensitive project. (I assume that you or someone there is probably more familiar with Word than you are with Access).

i am very familiar with word and would feel much better using it. the label format is in word and it's sized up just right, but i don't know how to import the data.

Oh, i do not know how to use the Mail Merge feature. I've found it, but don't know what to do. Can you assist?

I learn't how to use the mailmerge in about an hour by reading the help.

Well, dennisk, if you can, if you have yahoo messenger, can you send a message to the screen name: Psinetic? I don't have an hour to read it right now so any help would be grateful.
