Need Help in combo boxes ???

hi,

i am totally stuck, actually i have two fields in a table one for created by and other one is approved by. the creater and approver list is same. I have created 2 combo boxes and what i need to do is that i don't want same person's name on both combo boxes. If creater is Mr X but he can't approve his work, should be a different person in approver's field before saving the form.

could anyone please help ::>>>

In ApprovedBy_BeforeUpdate, check the current value of CreatedBy. Don't forget to check for nulls, etc.

In your approvers combobox rowsource edit the query and under criteria put:
<> [Forms]![YourForm]![cboCreator]

Then in the afterupdate of your Creator combobox requery the Approver combobox.

also the data in both combo boxes coming from the table where i created two different fields for checker and approver and user can select from dropdown combox which is added via lookup wizard. there is no query for these >>
