Need Help in pause & resume time calculation

Hi Guys,

I am working on a database where i need to perform the below activities,

start->pause->resume->pauseagain->resumeagain->finish

Can anybody tell me how to do it.

I wanted to calculate the actual time from start to finish excluding the pause time.

Please help me.
