I'm working on an application using Access 2010. I'm using a split database.

The back-end resides on the network. In that location, I have a sub-folder with PDF files that need to be accessed through the forms (and printed, if I can figure out how to do it in bulk through Access instead of 1 at a time).

Someone else is here doing the data entry, and I have her computer set up that the default location is the network. When she inputs data and enters the hyperlink to the PDF document, it appears as MSDS/filename. If I try to access that document, I get the Trusted Location message box.

I'm having to go in and change all of the links to include the entire path, so that I don't get that error.

I have the network location as the default database folder in my settings.

I went to Trust Center, clicked on Trust Center Settings. Right now, only the path for Access on my local computer is listed as a trusted location.

When I tried to Add a new location...it told me that the new location violates my current security settings.

How do I change my security settings to allow this network location?

As always, I appreciate everyone's help.

Problem solved already. Should have Googled the issue first before posting here.
