hi, can anyone help me with free microsoft 2007. i google it to download it but most of the sites don't give me any thing, and i wanna know if the computer could have two version in the same time (2007 and 2010)?

You can install two versions of Access on the same computer but both need to be the same bitness. In this case 32-bit.
However there will be configuration issues and you may be better putting one of them on a VM.

You shouldn't be asking for a free copy of commercial software in a public forum such as AWF. Although long since unsupported you can still obtain A2007 online at a low price. Whether it is a legal copy is another matter.

you can download it in this archive: https://archive.org

I wouldn't recommend running 2 versions of Access on the same PC. People do it successfully, some people, but if you don't feel very comfortable with managing references and library problems that will probably arise, then don't try it.

Sometimes I miss my old tower pc with the swappable C drives... 😥

For various reasons, I have successfully run Access 2010 & 365 on the same PC for at least 3 years.
There are occasional registry configuration issues when reopening an app in A2010 that was last opened in A365.
However reference libraries aren't really a problem.

Having said that, I accept some people find the dual setup difficult which is why I recommended using a CM

I had two versions going for a while, it was okay at first. Then little by little things started to change, it seem like they were competing for the default startup position.

The 'trick' is to set the earlier version e.g. A2010 as the default.
That works for me as I still develop in A2010 as many of my clients still use that.
However another sizeable group run A365 so I have to test in that as well.

If your preferred version is the newer one, dual installation does indeed become a PITA.
In which case a VM is a better alternative
