Need more than 255 char in Text Datatype

how to create text-field that holds more than 255 char.

If I, try to enter more than 255 in the Field Size field.

"Setting for field size properity is 0 to 255"

Text fields have a limit of 255 characters.

To be able to input more text into a field, you'll need to make it a memo field, which comes with some drawbacks with regards to sorting/querying...
