I have a form that my users enter information from client call-ins. They frequently use the "Find and Replace" function to find records of previous calls, then they copy that record to a new record and simply change the necessary information (new date, etc.). Unfortunately they frequently forget to copy the old record to a new record and overwrite data in an existing record. What I need is a PopUp Warning message to appear when they close the "Find and Replace" text box, reminding them to copy the current record to a new record. How would I go about doing this?
Thanks.

in the onclose of the form you can add

MSGbox "Do not forget to Copy Current record as new", VBOKonly

The problem I'm having is that I need to insert that code on the onclose of the access "find and replace" box and I don't know how to get to the properties of that box. See the attached image. When the user closes the "Find and Replace" box, I need to have that warning message popup.
Thanks for your assistance..

there are event procedures in the property of the form. in those event procedures u will see one that says on close... in there is where you put what i told you too

Rainman98, how many times does the OP have to tell you, he's not doing this with a form! He's using the Access native "Find and Replace" function and wants a messagebox to popup when it's thru running!

I'm doubtful that you can do this. I tried running the Find/Replace from a sub, with a messagebox after the command to run Find/Replace, but the message pops up while the R/F box is still on screen. Maybe someone else will have another idea.
