Need to append to text file

Hi everybody,

I use an output macro in a query to create a text file of remaining inventory while scanning. I have a small thermal printer that prints a text file, but the problem is, if I only need 5 lines, it starts wasting alot of paper. Is there anyway to append to this text file, and just add my inventory to the bottom of the list?

I think you can use open and print statements. Check the help files for syntax.

maybe...

open pathtofile for append as #1
print #1 "your stuff"
