Need to be able to query the 'last' appointment I had with someone

Hi, First time post, I hope someone might be able to help, please note I am quite new to Access and have taught myself a lot but may not have the greatest understanding.

I have created a database that logs appointments my student support team has with students in a large high school. I need to be able to create a report that shows the last meeting any team member had with a student within a specified time scale. I can bring up all the appointments they had but have no idea how to specify just the latest one.

Can anyone shed some light?

Create a new query that groups your data by student support person and max the appointment date and supply a date range to the same date field.
