Hello

I am creating a simple database of information about sports with the following tables:

tblResource_Categories specifies if the info comes from a magazine, blog etc
tblResource specifies the resource (e.g. a specific magazine)
tblEntry specifies the particular information (e.g. an article, a blog entry)
tblSport names the sport (e.g. Tennis, Badminton, Sailing)
tblSports_Categories has categories (e.g. Track and field)

I want to create a form where I can select Category, then select Resource, add the Entry and then categorize which sports are mentioned:
e.g.
Select Category "Magazine"
Select Resource "Tennis digest"
Enter "[link to web page]"
Select Sports Category "Ball sports"
Select "Tennis"

How can I create such a form?

Thanks

Peter

I got confused by your title - what have nested subforms to do with your text? Provide an illustration. I suspect others may have found this confusing too.

Or else get cracking on forms and subforms yourself - there are tutorials out there, not to mention the wizard within access itself, allowing you to make a form and subform.

It was probably a bad title, I assumed nested subforms is what I needed.

What I want to do is quite simple: store a link to a web page and then categorize the web page according to resource type (e.g. magazine) and which sport it is about.

Maybe these illustrations make things clearer.

An article can be about several sports so it must be possible to add more than one.
