Network computer name saved in record.

I have a split database (A2000) on a server; many people use the database at many different terminals. I would like to save the computers identification to the record being created. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Do a search here on Environ. I guess you could set up a bound text field in your data entry form to have a default value of the returned value from Environ. This would save the computer id, going by network or workstation log-in id.

= Environ$("USERNAME")
Inserted in the default value of a text field.
