I would hereby like to say sorry to anyone who has started reading this thread and, having gotten to post #147 (I believe), found that it suddenly jumps in a way that makes no sense.

This my fault.

I have received the following e-mail from the people who owned the copyright to the photograph I posted.

"Removal of Image

I have just posted on your forum regarding the unauthorised removal of an image Tar and Glue remover, please read this post and act on it with immediate effect.

As a result, the image is gone.

I would like to take the opportunity to apologize unreservedly to Ms Godrèche, Eurochem as a corporate entity, the Auto chemical industry as a whole, and the dinosaurs which died in order that we may have oil (including and and all of their descendents) for the upset I have caused via my thoughtless act.

I never intended at any point to imply that Eurochem's Tar and Glue remover could actually be effectively used to remove tar and/or glue. I have never tried it out and so have no evidence to this effect.

My spur-of-the-moment action - in a pointless, nay juvenile, attempt at playing a game - have forced Ms. Godrèche to compose an almost entirely coherent e-mail of complaint (I assume it was meant to be 'the use' rather than 'the removal' that was unauthorized?). This, I appreciate, will have wasted valuable time. Time that could have been better spent in her never-ending task of surfing computer programming forums looking for unlicensed pictures of chemical products.

Ms. Godrèche, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we salute you and people like you. Police? Firemen? Soldiers? Pah! Away with them all. You, Ms. Godrèche, you are the real heroes of this world. If not for your tireless work, there could be literally dozens of unlicensed pictures of glue remover out there.

I am also well aware that chemicals such as Tar and Glue Removers work hard and deserve their privacy. It can't be easy being in the spotlight and posting their picture on a freely-accessible website was an invasion of their privacy and I am sorry for any distress I have caused Mr and Mrs Tar and Glue Remover and their family and friends.
