SO,

I get tired of scrolling to the top of the screen to go back to the new posts page...

I think it would be cool to repeat the menu bar at the bottom of the page as well.... Sometimes, the page doesn't load completely, and I start scrolling, but it shoots back to the bottom and I have to start over....

Not the end of the world of course, Just a minor annoyance...:p

You make it sound like hard work. You on a zx80? , on my 8 year old m/c it gets from the bottom to the top in the blink of an eye.

No, a Dell, work comp.

It's not hard work.... Just annoying.... Of course there may be a little laziness in there...:)

Remember you can hit those little keys marked HOME and END on your keyboard to go to the top or bottom of the page (as necessary). :)

It's funny, I have never in my life used those keys...... Wow, I feel just a little bit smarter, and more than a little embarrassed:o

Point taken and I shall try to refrain from using that term in the future :)

What term, obvious? You didn't use it....

LOL remember
Nothing is obvious to those who do not know

Brian

Yeah, but I like to think of myself as computer literate... You would at least think I knew what all the keys on my keyboard did...:D

The term I believe he was referring to was REMEMBER. :)

Actually Bob I was trying to make Kryst feel less embarrassed, just shows how easily communication can fail on a forum, wish some here would realise that.

That was the way I originally read it! Yay!

i have login form with two users and another ine form laptops and i want to set AllowAddition property "yes" for one user and "no " for other user .How can i do this.

hi guys,
I have form "FrmLap" but that showing just only one record if i want to see all record what i should do?

i have main form "FrmMain" in that there is subform "SubLap" that is in datasheet view where i can see all record
and when user click in record selector on any record i can open just that specific record in "FrmLap" form but i want to see all record and when "FrmLap" open it should display that record.

suppose in my datasheet there 10 record if i click on record number 5 , i want that form should open with all 10 record but it should display record number 5 and if i click on next record it should also show me record 6 like that.

And i want to see only that record in "FrmLap "which i find by query in sub form "SubLap".

here is my code..

Private Sub Form_DblClick(Cancel As Integer)
On Error GoTo Err_Form_Click

Dim stDocName As String
Dim stLinkCriteria As String

stDocName = "LaptopWizard"

stLinkCriteria = "[serial number]=" & Forms!SearchLaptops!SubLaptops![serial number]
DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria

Exit_Form_Click:
Exit Sub

Err_Form_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_Form_Click
End Sub

Thank you very very much

No harm in making things more efficient but then again it's probably better to get people to get used to other methods that are jsut as good.
