Hello all, I'm new to the world of DB's but learn quickly as I'd like to update an asset management DB I already use which I created a few years ago and then never touched apart from entering data. I have an opportunity to build a database for a client which could be used in multiple stores so I'm starting out from the bottom and aiming towards to very top.
I come from a computer support background running an IT support company specialising in small businesses and home user support.
Hopefully, I will find the answers to some questions and particularly look forward to offering information back to newcomers once I have learned certain elements of DB design and implementation.
