I am new to this forum, I am building a database, I have used access before but now starting from scratch. I created the switchboard manager and trying to restrict access from other users changing/modifying the database, I did set up a password, and disable the navigation bar now trying to disable the tabs up top, and just show the form. I searched in my access options but not show which one to check off. I hope I explained this well enough. Thanks!

Hi Sabrina,

If I am understanding you correctly you want to turn off tab control on the forms?

In Access 2010 you go to File, Options, Current Database and un-check "Display Document Tab" and that will do it.

Not sure if this is the same in other access versions though !

Thanks! Paul

I tried to uncheck the display document tab, it did not work. However, I looked further down and unchecked the ribbon and toolbar options. It worked it only diplayed the home tab and that's what I wanted. Thank you !
