No reports will open...

Can you please tell me what would cause the reports in a database not to open? The tables, queries and forms open, but not the reports.

One thing I came across once was that the report didn't appear to open, but I noticed scroll bars on the main Db window. When I scrolled down and accross,(a long way), the reports were there. (Dont ask me how they got there).

One other thing to check is any code on the "On Open" event or "On Activate" event of your report. If there is an error, and it is not properly trapped, the report will fall over.

The odd thing is that I have four users using the same database and only one of them has this problem. Everyone has Access installed on their workstation and the file lives on the server.

I wondered if something in the Access software had become corrupt or if the individual had altered settings.

I'll check what you have suggested - thanks for that.

ISTR that if there is a problem with the printer setup on a machine, access reports won't open. Might be worth checking if its a PC-dependant issue.

Thanks for your advice. It isn't a printer problem, either. I am going to try re-installing the software and seeing if that repairs it.
