A quick question, should one avoid using non-english letters in table field names? (such as Swedish å, ä, ö). Does this cause any issues I should be aware of? Thanks in advance!

Hi. Not entirely sure, but my advice would be to avoid them, just to be safe. Cheers!

There is an issue in using them based on how you get to them. If you have a "standard" font with no more than 256 characters that includes your special characters, you can do that and just name the font in the appropriate properties list. Parsing that kind of string could be a problem but simple full-field comparison would work OK if you used the Compare Binary option where appropriate.

However, some extended fonts go into Unicode and I cannot advise in that case. I have no experience in it.

Thank you both! I had just created a new table trying to avoid those characters but wondered if it was necessary because it hurts my brain to see so many "spellling errors". :) I will leave them just to be safe. Thank you again!
