Noob question on queries (1 Viewer)

Bit of a noob question here. I've noticed when I create a query and view it in Datasheet view, I can't add any records to it. There's no row starting with the * to enter a new record. Why? What am I doing wrong?

Maybe the query is not updatable

Cheers. Can't seem to find the problem.....delete and back to studies for this little black duck. Umm.....am I allowed to say that these days? Eh...who cares...and just to clarify...I'm neither, but I still love Daffy Duck.
