not acsending

Hi there.

I made a query, and sorted it acsending (from hi to low (1 2 3 4.....)) and saved it

now making a report on the query but either way, if I choose it to sort by ascending or desending it won't sort it. it always makes the last number first and i don't want that.

what should I do?

In the report, bring up the Sorting and Grouping box. Select your sorting options here.

tried that lol..didn't work, i think i nearly got it..........

Do you have other grouping options selected? If not, this will override any sorting options you have in a query.

I would be interested to know what your problem/solution was.

the problem i just found out, happens when grouping.

I got the thing working but now I need to only show the name once!

it says :

"the report must be ordered by client number and must show the name and address of every client once"

so far, I JUST manged to get it but I forgot about the name

and I'm trying to only show the name once but it won't work, then the sorting problem happens!

just solved it heheh.

I just put in to group it in client, name and address, that's it.
