Dear All

I have this combo box in a form which picks up data from the table. Auto Filling other records. It fills up 4 records with data.
I've set up the column head to "yes" so I can see names of the columns I'm picking up.
The name on the head of column shows the name correct, which is called "City" but the data isn't there. Instead of names of cities I can see only numbers and even when I select it, it displays the number I chose not the relevant city.
I tried to play with the width of the field, the number of column count, number of Bound Columns. I'm still get numbers instead of names of cities.
I've been struggling with it for hours now. I think that I've tried everything, yet logically I must be doing something wrong somewhere.
I really need help :banghead:
I've attached two images which they might help.

Many thanks in advance

Regards
Abbosy

Column Index is ZERO based. So Column(1) actually represents column 2.

Thanks for the reply Paul

This much I know, and if you see the attachment. It picks up the right column head but displays wrong data. The data should be names of cities but it sometimes displays them and most of the time doesn't. Drove me crazy

Many Thanks

See the relationships ! Looks like Cities is a Foreign Key to some other table, make sure you join them..

I think what Paul was referring to is your vba is assigning columns 1-4 but you only have 4 columns which are numbered 0 to 3

Looking at your last attachment I suspect you are using a value list for your rowsource?

The other thought from your last attachment is that you are using the dreaded lookups in your table design - my bet is that 118 is the FK to a table containing your cities. If this is the case then you need to modify your rowsource query to include the city table
