OS = XP pro SP2
200GB IDE HD with 134GB free (NTFS)
200GB USB2.0 with 54GB Free (NTFS)
Virtual Memory = 1gb (Let Windows Manage)

Trying to copy files from a external USB drive to the Hard drive.

I have done this a million times and now it decides to foul up. When trying to copy files from the external drive to the hard drive that are 4GB or higher I get an error "Not Enough Disk Space"

Both Drives are NTFS with Plenty of free space. Also get the same error when creating files larger than 4GB. It worked before and no OS changes have been made that I know of.

What does your question have to do with Access programming?

I suspect a recent Windows update might have caused your problem or a possible bad disk. Seach the Microsoft Knowledge Base for a cure. Also, do a full scan disk [error check and defrag] on both drivers to ensure there are not bad sectors or other hardware related issues with either drive.

No Internet on that PC so no autoupdates. Did a scan on both and a defragg. MSDN suggest a possible Virtual memory Setting.

ghudson - it appears the other sections that would be more appropriate to this ? have disapeared.
I have used this site for help for the past 4 years in all aspects of Access Programming including filemanagement. Figured "General" would be about the best place for this.
