Microsoft have updated Notepad in Windows11 and it is now a real pain to use. What was wrong with the way it worked before?
Another example of an improvement that is a retrograde step for no purpose.

Its the change! I've used it for so long as a noddy text editor and at my age change never goes down well. I'll use NotePad++ in Windows and Geany on Linux. Which is less than impressive. But none of them are as good as the old QEdit, or QuickEdit of which I still have copies but need a DOS emulator to run it. Too much keyboard, mouse, keyboard with text editors these days.
However, on Notepad I seem to be a majority of one. But never mind.
