Hi
Anyone have any ideas on this please?

I need to create a facility using the standard MS Calendar control to enable users to log personal notes as reminders of 'must do' operations for the following days/weeks. I envisage this working as follows :

User selects date to enter note from date picker control
User enters note in subform
Reocrd is stored with 'created date' info.

The note will display each and every day thereafter until the 'Signoff' checkbox is filled. But those records with a 'created date' greater than the current date selected on the date picker control- will not display.

Thanks
Guido

Thanks for your help - this is pretty much where I have got to - I need help specifically with the filtering....So,

- any notes 'created' after (current day selected on picker) will not show on the subform

- any notes 'created' before (current day selected on picker) and NOT signed off WILL show on sub-form ie. they still have to be actioned by the user

- any notes created before (current day selected on picker) and 'signed off' WILL NOT show on sub-form ie. user has actioned the note and hence can remove from note list

Trust this makes sense. Any ideas?

Thanks
Guido

I thought I did what you have asked
As you load form1 you will see 3 records ... new one will reflect the date = to date_picker.
Select 2nd of January ... you will have only one record as of 1st of January

To filter out the records with the Sign OFF check mark (16/03/2005)
Go to design of Reminder form
In record source update the sql to

SELECT Table1.Date_Created, Table1.Description, Table1.Sign_off
FROM Table1
WHERE (((Table1.Date_Created)<[Date_picker].[value]) AND ((Table1.Sign_off)=False));
