Earlier today police closed Nottingham town centre.

I've just heard from Twitter that a 31 year old man is being held in relation to the murder of three people.

How close are you to there?

PS - do they really say "kerb" instead of curb?

Seems like it was a vehicular homicide!
we had a situation like that too last year, a guy rammed over like a dozen people in a christmas parade. multiple murders.

because he was black, though, he got the privilege of most media stations saying it was an "accident", even though 200 witnesses said it wasn't.

If they would publish the name of who they arrested in nottingham it would be informative as to motive.
i.e. Mohammed vs. Jack

Sounds like the victims here were not confronted by Merry Men.

A 'kerb' is the roadside edge of a pavement.
'Curb' is to exercise control, as in 'curb your enthusiasm'

No, using memory and experience to assess risk in the present.

Kind of like you did when you assumed I was judging a book by its cover - based on my past behavior. ;)

We all do it, 100's of a times per day. If we didn't, each day would be like Memento, except in reference to our ability to judge our surroundings, We'd be like newborn babes. Kind of like radical progressives are currently!
