numbers with decimal places are appearing in the text output file (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Am facing a issue while generating text output , two fields which are in number format getting populated with decimal place.
I wanted the output without decimal places, to achieve that I had rounded off the field to zero but still decimal with two zeroes is being generated.

Any ideas how to fix this will save me from lot of pain.

It depends on how you are displaying those number fields. Can you gives a little bit of context about how and where they appear, as well as what should happen if the numbers aren't zero? Without knowing what you are attempting (mechanically) it is very hard to advise you what to do to fix that problem.

if a number is stored as currency or double, then the default will be to show it on a report in the same way.

You will need to set to the display format on the report to fixed, 0 decimal points to achieve what you want.
Note that displaying as a whole number won't change the actual number which is stored in the database.
