I changed one of the base queries of many of my report queries from a local Access query to an SQL Server View.
To be sure, I decided to check the Object Dependencies before I deleted the original base query. It still says the queries depend on the old base query yet the SQL clearly does not include it.
It also says the old base query depends on the server view which is odd because it had never included the view.
I have tried compacting and importing all the objects to a new database.
V-tools Total Deep Search does not find any mention of it in any query. I know I have seen it list old sources before but this always corrected once the databse was compacted.
Is the Object Dependency tool more or less useless once queries are edited to use different sources?
