ODBC failure

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to import a table from Oracle database using :
file --> get external data --> import

I've configured ODBC connection and i'm getting to the stage when i can select tables from the Oracle database. But after submitting my selection I'm getting an error saying:

ODBC failed
Invalid string or buffer length (#0).

The connection works in Excel though.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

are you familiar with Zoned and Packed fileds? Maybe start looking there first, I know I have had issues linking PRMS to oracle because of this.

im not really familiar with zoned and packed fields but will try to research it a bit and see if it's the cause of the issue
