Ok, this one has totally got me. I can't get my head round references, registering etc..
When I try to carry out several functions (one is a macro, another a wizard produced button to close a form) I get an error message: "A problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE Server or ActiveX Control. Close the OLE server and restart it outside of Microsoft Access. Then try the original operation again in Microsoft Access."

Can anyone explain why I'm getting this message, what it means and what I can do about it? Please? PLEASE!!!
:(

Try first to create a new database.
Then File->Get External Data->Import.
Import all what you have (forms,macros,quiries,reports,modules) to a new db.
It could help.
