There are a few things that could be causing this, 1) capability of the
automation-enabled imaging software that is displaying the OLE Object, 2) file type converters that don't exist in one MS program compared to the other, 3) available memory, 4) corrupt files, etc...
What are the OLE Objects? I presume pictures? If so, what format? jpg? bmp? Using a Bound frame?
If you are having trouble with a jpg, try converting it to a bmp and see if the problem remains. And vice versa.
If you cannot figure out the OLE Object issue, perhaps you can use one of the other ways to store images in ms access. check out
this link for the three examples.
I've heard of people just reinstall MS Word to correct this problem as well.
