Morning!

Hope someone can help me out here.
I've got a Unbound Object sat withing a Tab Control Page which is currently set to display an excel file depending on the record number once the button is pressed, however the excel files are not fitting in the object frame.

Is it possible to add a scroll bar to navigate the spreadsheet within the object as I can't see the option to turn them on or off anywhere.

Thanks

Only a thought, it is not tested.
Create a subform and set the width to fit the Excel sheet, place the subform in the tab control.

Ok, decided to re-approach this one scrapping excel spreadsheets and opting for pdf's.....

I've now gone down the sub-form route with a web browser control object pointing at a variable file name on a network ie.
"\\server\folder\" & [SupplierCode] & ".pdf"

Now this works the majority of the time however, it sometimes displays a "This program cannot display the webpage" page. I know the URL is right and the pdf's are all named correctly but I can't understand the errors.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks in advance

Right...
Just discovered it's down to the speed of the network causing what appears to be a time-out in the document retrieval.

Is there any way I can slow this time-out down?

Is the form linked to a query or a table?

I say that as you can change the ODBC Timeout option when using a query based form. Go into design mode for the query, switch to SQL view and select Properties (have to be in SQL view or you dont see this option).

Not sure if this will work or not though but worth a try (if you are using a query based form).

Try by using an error handling, maybe some loop and optionally a DoEvents!
