I have an invoicing form (frmInvoice) for computer purchases with a primary key of "InventoryID." frmInvoice has a combo box where I identify the type of equipment purchased (i.e., monitor, printer, tower, etc.). I also have separate tables for each type of equipment where I store the equipment specs with "InventoryIDLink" as the foreign key in each. Each of these equipment specs tables has its own form (the frmMonitors for example gathers the screen size and resolution while the frmTowers gathers the processer speed, etc.). I want to be able to jump to the appropriate form to enter specs once I choose an equipment type on the frmInvoice. Any ideas?

You need to normalise your db, you don't need separate tables for each type of equipment, search here for articles and links on normalise/normalize

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I have read a number of articles this morning, and I am spiraling into an abyss of confusion. Thinking I understand the five normalization rules is one thing; being able to apply them to my tables is another. I have attached the db. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks so much.
