Hello,

Please help, I am still kind of new to Access. My problem is. I need to be able to open a form from a selection of a combo box. Thank you in advance.

More.

OK. What I am building is a kitchen and bathroom remodeling labor estimator. I have two combo boxes that are syncronized on a form. When someone clicks the drop down on the 1st combo box they select from several different tasks (Demolition, Electric, Plumbing, etc...). Then the 2nd combo box refreshes with all of the sub-tasks that are available for the task they selected in the first combo box. From there I want someone to be able to click one of the selections in the 2nd combo box that will inturn open that corresponding form.

Example:

** In combo box 1 I select "Plumbing".

** Combo box two then refreshes with all of the "Plumbing" Sub-Tasks I can chose from.

** I then click on the 2nd combo box and select "2nd floor lavatory installation."

** This is where I am stuck. I then want the form I have designed for "2nd floor lavatory installation" to open giving my client the ability to add all of the sub-tasks for a 2nd floor lavatory into there estimate.

I hope this is enough information for someone to help me. Thanks again.

You would open the form in the AfterUpdate event of ComboBox2 probably using a Select Case structure to examine Me.ComboBox2.Value.
