Open form where

Another simple question. I'm having trouble using the where clause with text.

docmd.openform "frmserlist",,,"[seriesyear]=" & me.seriesyear

Series year is text. This is in the on click event of a subform I have. I know this isnt right, since it's text, but I've tried multiple variations, and haven't gotten it.

Thank you much. I saw that somewhere else, but all the quotes where so close together, I screwed up copying it.
