Open Report in Print Preview (1 Viewer)

If you scroll or select any drawing, just click the link and it will show the revision history report for the current drawing

Well, it is doing the same for me, and I have no clue as to why. :(
However, if I create a button and use the wizard, I get a macro, but that opens the report in PrintPreview mode.
Why your other hyperlinks to reports work in PrintPreview, I have no idea.

Ok...at least I'm not going crazy 😁

Hi. I checked the print properties for the report and the default was set to a physical printer that I use regularly and the paper layout and properties are the same as the report size and orientation.

However, I have a bigger problem now - the database or the application seems to have crashed and now Access keeps prompting me to open in safe mode and create a backup of the database. Not sure what caused this to happen. The only other things I did were adding a button on the main form to close the application and the last thing was setting the form for the database to open on. As soon as I did that and tried to reopen the database it crashed and automatically created a backup. But now it keeps prompting me to create a backup. Luckily the backup has every change I made but I am not sure what's going on with the application.
Are you able to upload a copy of the actual application?

However, I copied Issues By Date and change the sub address to your report and that opens in Print Preview?, so suspect some corruption?

However your opens as

The copied one opens as

Ok..I too think there is a corruption issue as I am still trying to figure out the crash issue. Should I continue to discuss that problem in this thread or post a new thread in the general forum?

Look in event viewer for any clues.
I checked but I don't see anything relating to Access. Honestly I've never opened that before so not sure what to look for but I definitely don't see Access listed.

I've been unable to reproduce the behaviour which you are experiencing. All of the reports open correctly from the links in the frmDwgReg as expected, and can be printed without any issues.

However, by having multiple columns for the different design consultant types in the tblProjects table data is being encoded as column headings. A fundamental principle of the database relational model is the Information Principle (Codd's Rule #1). This requires that all data be stored as single values at column positions in rows in tables, and in no other way. To satisfy the rule I think your model should be as below:

Ken, if you open that one report and rìģht click, you will see it is report view. Open any others and they are in Print Preview.
Default for all reports is Rint Preview.

Not in my case. All open in Print Preview.
