opened exclusively

I keep getting this msg that I can't view form because it's already opened exclusively by another user. I'm the only one working on these. I think I may have caused an error yesterday when I tried to set up security on a form, been having problems ever since. I went to tools/options and unchecked the "open exclusive" box. what else can I do??
 
Weird message, isn't it? I've come across this before among other weird ones.

On a number of "unsolvable issues", like this one, creating a new database and importing all objects (ie. tables, forms, queres, etc.) from the problematic database worked for me. When importing, "Select All".

It might work for you... try it.
