It makes absolutely no sense at all to go to a record number in a relational database. Record numbers are not identifiers, they merely identify the record's place in the sort order of the recordset. So, the 5th record is arbitrary and depends on how the recordset is ordered.
In a relational database, when you want to reference a specific record, you do it by using a query with a where clause that includes the ID you are looking for or references a variable that contains it.
