Hi guys, hope you're all well.

I have an unbound main form that users can search/filter etc. for company names. The sites then fill another list box. I need a decent way to display notes against the customer/sites. I'm playing around with a subform but it doesn't have the look I am after (the memo fields aren't displaying much of the text).

Any suggestions for a better approach?

Thanks.

Does a site have more than one memo record?

Hi Ken, it certainly can.

Can you do a pop-up modal form that shows the data when you click the site in the list box?

I presume Modal = Continuous? That's a good idea :) I presume you can't create a model subform?

Um... Never tried that, I'm guessing not.

You can do the continuous with form header and footer and make it look pretty good though...

If it's a listbox control, what you can do is get the value displayed in a texbox just below the listbox when a row is clicked. Just refer to the memo column in the listbox.

Me.TextboxName = Me.ListboxName.Column(x)

Or you could just pass the column(x) as an openarg to use as the filter for the modal form....
