It seems I've overstepped in setting up Users and Permissions, in MS Access 2007, on an .mdb. When I enter any of the user names and passwords I've created, I'm told that it's not a valid account name or password. I'm wondering how this could be possible since I'm staring at them in the Snapshot file.

My question is this: I can access the .mdw file as "Admin", is there anyway to unwind this mess?

Thanks in advance!

::Update::

I've regained access to my database by creating a shortcut and modifying it's target address:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\Users\Cody.K\Desktop\Recovery\MyDatabase.mdb" /wrkgrp "C:\Users\Cody.K\Desktop\Recovery\MyDatabase\Security.mdw" /user WhomEverUser

Having accomplished that, I still wish to unwind this mess of users, groups, and permissions. Having dug around quite a bit, the prevailing piece of advice seems to be to decode the database, which on it's surface sounds simple enough.

With the database in question open, I click "Encode/Decode Database" and I'm prompted to save another copy of the database. Great! but upon opening this "decoded" database I'm greeted by the same Login prompt that's been plaguing me since the beginning. At square one, I enter my [correct] user name and password to be turned away once again.

I have a number of theories as to why this may be happening, but I'm wondering what suggestions you all may have.

Again, the end goal is to decode this database and remove all hints of users, groups, permissions, and logging in.

Thanks in advance...
