Question Output data to Outlook calendar

Hi all,

I've been asked to create a database which will need to output events to outlooks calendar.(i think i can find vba on the net to do this) However the main problem is that once the database has been filled with data it will not be opened very often. Is there a way to get outlook to update the calendar without having to open the database fully?

I do not have clients, but if I did I would hope that they did not change their mind as often as their pants.
