Overlaying fields

I have 3 fields next to each other that display some data. When I hold the mouse over these, I want to be able to click the area and it triggers an event. I tried putting a Rectangle over them, making it transparent and putting an On Click event.

But this doesn't work. Whenever I make it transparent, I can only trigger it by clicking on the border.

Any ideas on a solution to this?

Invisible command button. Sorted!

You don't need to overlay anything. The text box that holds your data has a Click event. I prefer to use the Double Click event as this makes accidental triggers less easy.
