Hi:

I want to pass the value from one form to another. The field is a checkbox and I want it displayed on CHecklistsubform? I am having trouble doing that. Both the tables have a one-to-one relationship. I am attaching my sample db. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Ekta

Do you not think it might be a better idea to properly structure your database before you even think about building forms?

Totally agree with Mile-O-Phile here,

49 fields with most of them being text.......uh ooh

This thing is going to run like a dog when it has for example 100,000 records in it.

There are an excessive number of fields, some are non-atomic, and most are completely different things which require tables of their own.

You are using a "main table" mentality which is advised against.

Thanks Mile-O-Phile and SQL_Hell. I would need further advise on this. Right now the users need to complete this initial qualification checklist for every record they add. So it's a one-to-one relationship. If I seperate these 49 fields into separate tables how would I link them? Will it be one-to-one relationship again? How should I go about it?

Thanks,

Ekta
