Why is it so difficult to transfer whole Excel sheets over to Access?
I keep getting a message: too many records to edit.
Plaese help. Thanks

Huh?

What are you transfering over the data to tables?

Can you post your project or code. Are you using the excel object model?

I'm really not doing anything fancy. I simply want to copy and paste a whole Excel worksheet over into Access. Access is only letting me do it one record in a table or design view at a time. Why is this happening? (See attached File)
However, I discovered I can achieve my result by highlighting and dragging my information from Excel over into Access. This works but it's sloppy. Especially since I have to make a dummy copy of my existing Excel sheet to copy, cut drag and click. Any further insight would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Where's the attached file?

Have you tried importing your data from Excel into Access? I suggest that you try the TransferSpreadsheet method. Check the help files for TransferSpreadsheet for more info and examples on how to import your data.

Perhaps try File>>Get external data>>Import select MS Excel in the 'types of file' and select your spreadsheet. That will send the data over but it will need some alterations once opened in Access
